W.O.W teaches on 2008 kites from Cabrinha and Ozone. We have tested many brands in the snow and have found this gear to be the best for getting our customers progressing past their expectations.

The Gear Wind Over Water Kiteboarding backs for Snowkiting:
Kites: Cabrinha Crossbow 3 and Ozone Frenzy
Harness: Cabrinha waist and impact waist, Dakine Pyro, Tabu, or Wahine
Boards: Cabrinha empire snowboard with Flow bindings
Skis: any fat powder type of ski works best
Clothing: O’Neill and Dakine.
Gloves: Dakine. Thick gloves with liners on the cold days and park style gloves on the warm days.
Helmets: Predator Lee, Bern Baker
Goggles: Zeal Optics Makes some great goggles and they love Snow kiteboarding. It is good to pick out the proper lenses for the weather. Dark for sun, colored yellow for cloudy days. This can make a huge impact on your experience.
Travel bags: We have all sorts of travel bags from both Dakine and Cabrinha.
